Update – loose all the security??? Oh no, we cannot have that at all! My LiveJournal content will stay on LiveJournal. There are things on that blog that my family can never, never see. Sorry folks

Just remember that it removes the security settings in the process, and you lose all the tags
i just went through a similar dilemna. had 2-3 years on an old typepad site and just recently switched here to wordpress. i tried once to import it over, when that didn’t work i just left it and linked back – in the spirit of letting go i guess.

You know when I moved, I decided not to import. Only because I wanted something fresh and new. I did as riverbird above and decided that linking was a better way to go about it. Then after a year of linking I decided to close the other blog down. Hopefully, you’ll figure out what to do..
